Join the amazing Megan Mari from Jing Advanced Massage Training for a day exploring how to use trigger points to treat chronic pain. Trigger point therapy is one of the most effective tools available to the massage therapist interested in treating chronic pain. This workshop will explore effective trigger point work and take the mystery out of this common condition, exploring in depth pathology, anatomy and hands on treatment options. Meghan Mari is the dynamic Co-Director and Founder of Jing Advanced Massage Training, a company providing degree level, hands-on and online training for all who are passionate about massage. Meghan has had successful private massage practices focusing on sports and injury prevention in San Francisco and New York and is the former manager and international sales director of the prestigious Stone Spa in New York City specialising in advanced massage and hot stone treatments. She has been an instructor at the Open Centre in New York City and at the National Institute of Holistic Health in California. The cost for the day will be £30 for MTI Members and £60 for non-MTI Members (+ small Eventbrite booking fee). In order to attend you need to hold a recognised Massage Qualification and Anatomy & Pathology or be a current student of MTI. All attendees will receive 4 CPD points and a certificate on completion of the workshop. Tea/coffee will be provided. The venue has free parking.
