I had previously experienced massage to assist with preparation or recovery from sporting events and to aid recovery from injury. In 2013 I sustained a back injury which resulted in surgery, my recovery was aided by massage and this stimulated my passion to learn a new skill and help others. This led me to undertake courses on massage leading to a full professional qualification with the Bristol College of Massage.

Audrey Crossley: I contacted Rachael due to a tight calf muscle in my right leg, she responded quickly and visited me at my home. After a consultation she assessed my calf only to find out it was not a calf muscle but lower down the ankle. With great communication she established that it may have been due to me not wearing proper shoes when cycling which gave me no ankle support. She was able to release the tension and reduce the pain and discomfort within my legs and provided a lovely relaxing massage. She also gave me tips about stretches to assist me in the future. Jackie Grose: I have been seeing Rachel for a number of months due to muscle strain from horse riding. She was able to diagnose the issue and manipulate it and made it possible with additional exercises prevent the tightness from returning. Caroline: Lovely relaxing room & great taylor made massage, dealing with the areas I thought were tight & also proving that the problem may not be in the area I thought! (Turned out to be be collar bone area in front not my neck at the back!!!) Good communication throughout treatment and nice to have the body assessed on a visual check when detailing issues at start & being adviced how to prevent issues arising and simple self help techniques.
