Julie Chappell

I was first introduced to the world of massage in 2013 during my job as a newspaper editor.
I had sought pain relief in a bid to unfold years of muscle misery caused largely in part by poor body mechanics, ie sitting and slouching at a desk in front of a poorly positioned computer with a telephone glued to my ear!

Buoyed by the huge benefits massage brought to me personally, and, following a family move back to Cornwall from Wales, I embarked on a life-changing career choice in 2017, enrolling at the acclaimed Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork where I gained an MTI Level 4 Diploma Practitioner's certificate in Holistic Massage.

With a particular interest in deep tissue, side-lying and neck mobilisation massage techniques, I am continually adding to my repertoire of skills since qualifying and have most recently attended advanced workshops in reflexology, facial treatments and Indian Head Massage.

I am continually fascinated by the human body and its relationship with massage and firmly believe in the giving and receiving of the nurturing touch as a fundamental human need.

As a member of the UK voluntary regulator, the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, this further demonstrates my commitment to delivering a high quality, person-centred approach to my massage treatments.
