Holistic Approaches for Enabling Persons Living with Dementia

Holistic Approaches for Enabling Persons Living with Dementia

This workshop aims to provide you with some practical, immediately useable tools to enable a person living with dementia feel comfortable about therapeutic touch.

We will explore how we may enable autonomy, consent, how to hold space and adjust communication accordingly with compassion.

You will have an opportunity to use your massage and regulation skills to connect with a person and fulfil unmet needs on their terms.
