Workshops with Earle Abrahamson

Key Principles of Rehabilitation for MSK Issues

This workshop is designed to support massage therapists in effectively providing rehabilitation exercises and advice to their clients. The workshop will cover principles of rehabilitation by carefully explaining how to develop, design and implement different exercises. In addition, participants will be able to consider when best to regress or progress exercise and develop an evidence-based approach to aftercare. The main focus will be on rehabilitation exercises for the knee, ankle, hip and shoulder. Through the workshop participants will be able to consider how effective their treatment and advice is in relation to injury management.

The workshop is open to all participants and will integrate theory with practice. Participants are asked to dress in shorts or comfortable clothing so that they can practise the techniques shown.
