Massage means to me a way to communicate with another person because sometimes words just get in the way. It allows me to be creative, to enable someone to let their mind and body find space for rest and peace. To support someone in pain to find a few moments of relief and stillness in their bodies. The basis for any massage is touch. In modern society the ability to communicate via touch can become lost. Massage is one area where touch can work to promote positive physical and emotional wellbeing. My training was with the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork at The Fold, in Bransford, Worcestershire. I have a Diploma in HOLISTIC MASSAGE with Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology level 4 and Indian Head Massage Level 3. I am registered with The Massage Training Institute and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (MTI, CNHC) In the past year I have worked with a number of client groups e.g. people new to massage, children, sports injuries but not wishing to engage with sports massage, stress relief, Carers and people with Alzheimer's. I have experience of working in Mental Health and with People with Learning Disabilities. I am DBS approved and fully insured.
