Body Paint Anatomy with Kate Browne

Body Paint Anatomy

Body Paint Anatomy is about making the process of learning muscle anatomy fun, interactive and effective! Refresh your knowledge of muscles of the neck and shoulder in this interactive workshop where we'll use colour, creativity and hands-on techniques to bring the muscular system to life.

Anatomy and physiology are the very foundation of what we practice. Understanding what we're interacting with and why, can help to model treatment plans and develop clinical thinking skills. We're also more able to articulate findings and treatment decisions to clients with confidence because we have a sound basis to work from.

This workshop will focus on muscles of the neck and shoulders and is ideal for students, qualified practitioners and instructors that want to deepen or scrub up on their existing knowledge.

What to expect:

- you'll be working in pairs painting muscles directly onto the body, starting with the points of attachment and then filling in the muscle belly (If you prefer not to be painted, you can work in a three)

- practice muscle actions

- learn palpation tips and tricks

- revise or learn muscle names and attachments

- receive our workshop handbook full of useful and practical information.

Don't worry if you haven't an artistic bone in your body - simply show up and learn in a friendly and relaxed environment that will boost your confidence and enrich your therapeutic understanding.
