Ayurveda is an ancient medical system, which evolved 5000 years ago.
The basic principles of Ayurveda medicine have curative and preventive aspects.
It gives equal importance to body and mind well being.
Ayurveda teaches how to have good longevity, with good physical and mental wellbeing being.
It teaches that:
The human body is mainly composed of PANCHA BHOOTHAS( Five basic elements). The three pillars of body are TRI DOSHAS( VATA,PITTA, AND KAPHA),which determine the body constitution (Prakruthi).
Every human has a unique body constitution (Prakruthi)according to these DOSHAS .
According to our body constitution, we can follow daily and weekly regimens to maintain a good health.
Ayurveda also advises the FIVE BASIC TREATMENT know as PANCHAKARMA which will be effective in all kinds of acute and chronic illnesses.
The medicines which are used in this treatment are from natural origin , mostly herbal preparations, which are free from harmful side effects. Ayurveda is a vast science, dealing with all kinds of disorders with human beings (except surgical cases).
