Join us for MTI East Anglia’s next regional day. We are delighted to welcome Jonathan Dance for this very practical, morning workshop, followed by swaps in the afternoon.

WORKSHOP
Gain insight on how you can elevate your massage practice by mastering a transformative blend of Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) and Soft Tissue Release (STR). This taster session is designed specifically for massage therapists eager to deepen their expertise and offer their clients a truly restorative experience.

On the day we will look at some key techniques. You will learn to harness MET to guide clients through controlled isometric contractions that realign the body, diminish tension, and expand their range of motion. Simultaneously, you will explore related STR techniques that target deep-seated adhesions, releasing tightness within soft tissues and enhancing overall circulation. This dynamic duo enables you to address
chronic discomfort at its source, promoting improved mobility, balanced posture, and elevated client well-being.

By joining this day, you not only enhance your technical repertoire but also gain insights into tailoring these methods to meet the unique needs of each client. Equip yourself with a few of these advanced skills that lead to more satisfying outcomes and distinguish your practice in a competitive field.

Are you ready to transform your therapeutic approach and help your clients move through life with newfound vitality? Let’s embark on this journey of professional growth together.

ABOUT JONATHAN DANCE
I have been a massage therapist since 2006, qualifying as a practitioner with the Massage Training Institute and then as a Massage and AP&P tutor in 2009. I’ve trained with Anatomy Trains and the ISRM and I enjoy running short courses that explore fascia informed movement based approaches to soft tissue work.
