Building a Community Around Your Practice with Katie Warburton
Building a Community Around Your Practice using ‘Skool’.
Whether you qualified last month or you’ve been working on people’s shoulders for twenty years, you’ve probably hit the same wall: the only way anyone can work with you is by lying on your couch, and there are only so many hours in a week.
This hour is about Skool, the community platform made popular by Alex Hormozi, which is essentially a private online space, a bit like a Facebook group that has been tidied up and given a purpose.
Your members can chat and post in a feed, you can put your videos and courses in a classroom section that they work through at their own pace, and you can charge for access through a monthly membership or individual courses, with points and levels that keep people coming back.
We’ll look at how therapists are using it to share home care videos, run paid courses and build a loyal community that does half your marketing for you without a single cringey Instagram reel. If you’re new, it’s a way to start building an audience before your diary fills up. If you’re experienced, it’s a way to share everything you’ve learned and earn from it without wrecking your hands.
You’ll leave knowing how to set one up without needing a tech degree, and how to help far more people than you could ever fit into a treatment room.
