I trained with Quantum Metta School of Massage in London with very experienced and highly regarded tutors and I loved every minute of it. My qualifications include Holistic Massage (MTI), Indian Head Massage and Thai Foot Massage. I am a qualified Clinical Aromatherapist (IFA) and hold specialist certificates for Palliative Care and Oncology Massage. I also offer Reiki.
My background is in nursing, where I specialised in the care of sick and premature babies. I currently work part time as a Complementary Therapist in a hospice, where I see outpatients who may have life threatening or life limiting conditions, patients who are in the inpatient unit for symptom management or end of life care and patients in their own homes. I also see people who are caring for a loved one or who are bereaved. I have a small private practice working from my home and also offer a mobile service. I mainly have clients come to me via personal recommendation. I have an enhanced DBS clearance and am fully insured.
